Chris, Luke, and I went to a hydroplane race last Saturday called Thunder on the Narrows. Since our magazine covers the racing scene, our editor thought it might be a good idea for me to become more familiar with this particular crowd, which is very different than the sailors I'm used to. We (Chris and I) had a blast. This race is just like Nascar but for boats. It's a very colorful and spirited crowd, to say the least, and they put on a great event :) The one thing we didn't anticipate was how scared Luke would be of the noisy boats. Here he is in Em's arms after hours of loud racing...he was a trooper!

Thunder on the Narrows
