We've prayed for snow like this over the past 9 years we've lived in the DC area, however the meteorologists were always wrong, and we were always disappointed. The one week we prayed for NO precipitation, we got an historic snowfall. Now our non-existent roof and all the wood delivered to build our new roof and addition are covered in snow. It was awful timing, but we're trying to make the best of it. If only the permits had been approved a few months earlier! I think we got a good 2+ feet on the ground! We might be stuck here for a while...
