Since buying a new sports car or SUV are at the bottom of our priority list right now (as if that would be our style anyway????), Chris has a new obsession: the BOB. Our Aunt Chris and Uncle Ray bought us the sports car of all strollers, the "BOB Revolution" (it's more like a high-end SUV than a sports car). This thing is amazing. First of all, you can start using it when the baby is 2 months old unlike most jogger strollers that recommend you wait until the baby can hold their head up. The wheels are perfect for off roading, and the front wheel can both swivel and lock, so it's perfect for either a jogger stroller or a stroll-around-town stroller. It only takes about two seconds and one hand to fold it up when you're done, unlike most jogger strollers which are heavy and difficult to fold. Of all the baby stuff we have, Chris is drawn to this item the most. When we walk around downtown, he compares our stroller to everyone else's, pointing out how much cooler ours is. It's been fun watching his enthusiasm because most other baby things don't make him melt the way this stroller does. Even though it's safe to place a 2-month old in this stroller, we wanted to use it from day 1 so today we bought an infant car seat adapter. Here are some pics of Chris installing the car seat! He couldn't wait to get home to install this adapter, and I think the fact that this excites him is embarrassing but he'll get over it, as this baby arrives any day now and it will be these little things that become exiting.

Hey!
My friend Mandy has BOB...and the carseat adapter. It has been used since at least the first month. Let's put it this way: She trained for a half marathon in March and pushed Cate in it for 2 hour runs. BOB is great and the car seat adapter thing is a good investment!
Anyway...I hope you are feeling good!
Katy
WOW...what a cadillac!!! I can't wait to push it also. Chris looks so proud and ready. And Em...you look great. Thank you for posting yet another belly shot. I am packing my bag (s) to head on down any time now. I am still hoping on an August date. Grandma Potsie's father's name was August. So we have a few days left to this month...thank goodness. School starts for me in a week. YUCK!!!!!
Love,
MOM
That's awesome Katy, because we're both signed up to run two 10 milers, one in July and one in August so I need to get my butt in shape. We plan on doing a lot of running with this little guy...
