Physical therapy sessions!

At our last two visits to the pediatrician, they voiced their concern about Luke's head stability and his tendency to prefer turning his head to one side over the other. They highly recommended we give Luke more "tummy time" (which he throws fits over) and referred us to a physical therapist. We believe, however, that the pediatricians keep forgetting that our 14 pounder is only 3 months old, not 6 months old. We think he's fine :) On the other hand, a little exercise and PT time can't hurt. Thanks to Em's college buddy Jenny, and her husband, Luke, and their son, Gray, we bought an exersaucer. Gray seemed to be having so much fun that we looked on Craigslist this weekend and found a similar exersaucer! Chris picked it up tonight and Luke LOVED it. It was hilarious, though, because Luke is clearly too small for this thing--his feet barely touch the ground and his head is just high enough for him to see the toys. Nonetheless, he'll make progress with this thing because he is forced to keep his head up without support (which he does fabulously!). As time went on, Luke became a bit agitated because he couldn't reach the toys easily and I think his head got tired (last pic). Chris and I had fun watching him, though, and we were successfully able to make dinner together without interruption for the first time since Luke was born!
