Mr. Luke standing!

It's amazing how quickly babies change! I remember my two roommates from college, who had boys a few months before we did, telling stories about how their sons became incredibly mobile and how much of a challenge it became to keep up with them. At the time, it seemed like it would take ages for the mobile stage to occur in our household, however that time has come for us, and it's fun but very tiring. Luke is a fast little boy...he crawls across the floor faster than we can walk, and he picks himself up to a stand on every piece of furniture in the house. We can't take an eye off him for a second, but we're having a great time! Luke is also eating "real" adult food now, and we think he's gaining some weight. At his 9 mo appointment he was only 15 pounds, which is 5 pounds over his birth weight. Now that we've introduced Cheerios, blueberries, green beans, grapes, and squash...he eats like crazy.
